We combined our technical expertise with a deep respect for India’s cultural heritage to create a digital platform where tradition meets innovation.
From empowering rural artisans to connecting handcrafted treasures with global customers, our journey is built on impact, authenticity, and sustainability.
Our Story
What began as a simple idea — “Preserve heritage through technology” — has evolved into a growing movement.
As Computer Science graduates, we saw an opportunity to bridge centuries-old craftsmanship with the digital marketplace. By eliminating middlemen and enabling direct access to buyers, we ensure artisans receive fair compensation and global recognition.
Today, Roots & Crafts supports artisans across multiple Indian states while expanding access to national and international markets.
